The Fashion Week

You will see lot of Hollywood actress wearing gowns decorated with feathers at the award functions, courtesy New York Fashion Week. Most of the fashion designers, at the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion week, chose to use feathers in their designs this time. Feathers were used in all kind of attires by the designers, be it dresses, coats or hats. No, they are not in shoes, not yet. Beautiful gowns decorated with goldfinch, cardinal and peacock colour were appreciated by the audiences as well.
Feather was used as hair accessories in Marc by Marc Jacobs. Marc, which is more popular and less expensive collection of Marc Jacobs, comprises of mini shift dresses with zippers details, school girl skirts, leather dresses and satin pants. The collection was very much wearable and is expected to be a big hit. Badgely Mischka presented gorgeous gowns decorated with hand painted petals. They are sure to become a hit with socialites and Hollywood actress. The duo also presented their day time collection, which seems inspired by the 70s a little. Monique Lhuillier’s collection, which was inspired by the 1920s, also has some fur trim attires. Celebrities will sure love to flaunt these one shoulder and strapless dresses, decorated by feathers and mirror beads. Cynthia Steffe and Diesel also presented their collection during the Mercedes Benz New York Fashion week. The Mercedes Benz New York Fashion week will end with Marc Jacob’s show on February 8th.
