The Fashion Week

The first opinion of everyone after seeing Alber Elbaz’s show was, it is pretty wearable. The clothes are not only made for the ramp or the Oscars. Most of the dresses and jewellery in the collection can be worn to office and parties by the women who are not Hollywood actresses or the daughters of billionaires. Nor Alber Elbaz’s collection was inspired by the past nor it was futuristic, it was simple fashion for the pure present. That’s what makes it quite wearable we guess.

Alber Elbaz’s collection was also celebrating femininity, like most of the designers at the Paris Fashion Week. Dresses made of ribbons were looking like some one has very cautiously cut the dresses horizontally and vertically. Alber Elbaz gave his dresses long and lean silhouette with the dresses made of ribbons. One shoulder dresses, tops and slender pants won lot of applauds by the audiences.  Emphasis was given to the waistline and in some dresses, to the hips as well. A top that was shaped like gift rap bow was specially liked by the audiences. Alber Elbaz gave as much thought to the jewellery as to the clothes. Like the clothes the jewellery was also quite wearable. The rectangular and shiny jewellery matched perfectly with the dresses. Black gloves and handbags complemented all the dresses perfectly, by giving them a very formal look. At last some very nice mid-calf stiletto boot or a stiletto pump with a gold heel made the entire collection simply outstanding.
